WHO SHOULD APPLY TO BE A MENTOR?
Experienced professionals with more than 5 years of experience in the energy sector. Mentors should have a desire to help a younger generation of professionals start or advance their careers in energy.
WHO SHOULD APPLY TO BE A MENTEE?
Young professionals with less than 5 years of experience in the energy sector. Mentees are interested in starting, transitioning, or advancing their careers in the energy sector.
YPE Mentorship Commitment:
Mentors and Mentees must commit to the following terms of the program:
Frequency: Mentor/mentee pairs will arrange one-on-one meetings (in person or virtual) to take place during the course of the program. All participants must commit to at least 6 meetings over the course of the nine month program (in-person mentorship events arranged by YPE can count towards this if both the mentor and mentee are in attendance).
Cancellation Policy: Mentors and mentees will provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment.
Attendance: Participants will be on time to all meetings with your mentor/mentee, whether in person or virtual.
Participation: Participants will attend the majority of mentorship events arranged by YPE for the mentorship program.

Mid-Spring: Mentorship Program Pairings are Announced
Late-Spring 2026: Mentorship Program Kickoff Session
Q3 2026: Mid-program check-in
Q4 2026: Program Wrap Up Social
